Mandatory fields are those fields that will necessarily have to be completed by the driver prior to marking a stop as completed or cancelled. This configuration is done from Planner and ensures that no stop is left with essential information missing.
How to Set up Required Fields for your Drivers
Login to Planner
Access the Drivers section
Select Proof of Delivery and choose either Stop Completed or Cancelled
Click on the 3 dots to the right of the field and select Mark as required.
That's it! Now when a driver arrives at a stop, they will see the mandatory fields marked with a red asterisk that must be filled in before he can complete the stop. If he tries to complete the stop without filling in the mandatory fields, the application will display a warning and will not allow progress until all mandatory fields are duly completed.
