Routal offers drivers a webapp accessible from any browser, without the need to download. This webapp allows to track the routes assigned from Planner.

In this way, the driver will be able to complete or cancel stops, and these actions will be reflected in real time in Planner.

Drivers App funcionality

1. Log in to the plan through the Drivers App:

To access the webapp, you do not need to download an app. You have the possibility to access in 2 ways: via login or via the link on the route.

  • If you access by login ( with phone number and verification code), you will then access the corresponding plan.

  • If you access via the route link (the planner has to send it to you each time), you will go directly to the route you have been assigned.

Once inside the plan, you will see the route on the map, a summary with the total number of stops, kilometres, estimated time and the complete list. You will also be able to see the information for each stop before you start.

2. Start route

When starting the route, the delivery times will be automatically updated for the planner and the end customer. In addition, if they have the Route started notification activated, the end customer will receive a notification.

Here you can start your route, which will open the first stop to be made. To go to the address, click on "Start" and you will be automatically redirected to Google Maps or Waze depending on your preferences.

Note: If you want to go to another stop, you can do so by swiping between stops or by going backwards (←) and then selecting the desired stop.

3. Complete/Cancel stop

Once we are going to complete/cancel a stop, we simply click on Complete/Cancel Stop and add proofs of delivery such as comments, signature and photos if needed (POD are available on Standard or North Star licences).
Please note that, if required by the planner, some fields may be mandatory (*).

When you complete/cancel the stop, the system will automatically take you to the next stop.
If you need to go to another stop, you can swipe right or left or press the back button (←) to then access the stop you need.

4. Finish your job

Once you have completed your route, simply click on Finish route. At this point, you will be able to evaluate the route (if the planner has decided to do so), and you will see a summary of the work you have done.
