What is the Break option used for?

The Break option allows you to set specific time ranges during which a driver will be unavailable. This is useful for:

  • Meal breaks

  • Mandatory rest periods

  • Any planned downtime when the driver should not operate

Where can I configure a driver break?

Breaks are configured per driver in the Drivers module.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to the Drivers module.

  2. Find the driver you want to configure.

  3. Double-click on the driver to open their details.

  4. Scroll to the Break section.

  5. Set:

    • Start time of the break

    • End time of the break

    • Duration (minutes), if applicable

  6. Save your changes.

📌 As shown in the image, the break is defined by selecting a specific time range.

What happens during a break?

  • The driver will not be available for assignments during the configured break time.

  • No services will be assigned to the driver while the break is active.

Important notes

  • You can edit or remove a break at any time from the driver’s profile.

  • Make sure the break schedule does not overlap with critical operations.
