Custom fields allow you to add extra information to your project, adapting it to your specific workflow. With them, you can store and display data that is not included by default in Routal, but is useful for your day-to-day operations.
What are they?
Custom fields are fields that you can create yourself to record additional information for your customers, stops, or tasks, depending on where you need them.
For example, you can use them to store internal references, specific notes, custom codes, or any other data relevant to your operation.
What are they used for?
They are used to customize the information in your project and work with the data you actually need.
They also make it easier to upload and map information from Excel, and help you display only the fields you want to use in the platform and in the Drivers App.
How to configure them
To create a custom field, follow these steps:
Go to Project Settings
Open Custom Fields
Click Create Custom Field
Complete the configuration of the new field
Once created, go to the corresponding section and make sure it is enabled so you can start using it.
Example of use
If you need your drivers to see additional information at a stop, you can create a custom field and enable it within the stop information in the Drivers App.
