With a Standard or North Star licence, drivers can edit the order of stops from the Drivers App. This functionality will allow to recalculate routes when they need to change the order of one or more stops for different reasons, whether or not the route has started.
Procedure
1) Give them permissions
The first step is to give permissions to your drivers. This step should be done only the first time. To do so, follow the procedure below:
Access Drivers from Planner
Click on Settings
Activate the Reorder and re-optimise routes checkbox.
2) How to edit routes from App Drivers
1. With this permission, your drivers will be able to edit their routes in 2 different ways:
A) By pressing the menu button (at the top) and selecting Reorder route.
B) By selecting the stop they want to do next and pressing Mark as next.
2. Then they can choose the stops you want to move to the beginning of the route and press Apply changes.
3. Finally, they will have to decide what to do with the remaining stops. This can be reoptimised or reordered according to the preferences and needs of each user:
A) Reoptimize route: Fix the selected stops and reoptimize the remaining ones.
B) Reorder route: Fix the selected stops and keep the order of the remaining stops.
