Routal offers drivers a web application (no download required) to keep track of the schedule.

With the Drivers App, drivers can mark the status of the planning and follow up (mark services as completed or cancelled). In addition to being able to carry out proofs of delivery (photographs, comments and delivery signature can be uploaded for each service) and together with barcode scanning.

How the Drivers App works

  • The first thing to do is to enter the plan through the Drivers App. If you access through the link of the route, you will enter directly. If you access through the login, you will have to access the indicated plan.

  • When accessing the plan, you will see the route on the map, a summary of the route with the total number of stops, kilometers and estimated time and the list of stops. In addition, you will be able to scroll over the list and see the information of each stop.

  • At this point it is very important to keep the location activated at all times as well as having the webapp in the foreground.

  • By clicking on Start route, the driver will be able to start his daily route, so the first stop to be made will be opened. To go to the address, click on "Start" and we will be automatically redirected to Google Maps or Waze according to our preferences.

  • Once we are going to complete a stop, we simply click on Complete stop and add proof of delivery such as comments, signature and photographs if needed.

  • In the case of canceling a stop, we will click on Cancel stop and select the reason for cancellation.

  • The progress of the route appears at the top of the list of stops, indicating in green the completed stops, in red the cancelled ones and in yellow the incomplete ones.

  • When the route is complete, simply click on Finish route. The driver will see at this point a summary of the completed route.
