Getting started with Routal

Learn the three parts of Routal and how to plan your first route.

Written by Joao Lucio

Routal helps you plan, dispatch and track your deliveries in one system, so your operation does not depend on a single person. It has three parts that work together.

1. Planner: plan and track your routes

Load the day's stops and your vehicles, and Routal builds the routes in seconds. You can adjust the result at any time and, once the routes are running, follow them in real time. Afterwards, Fleet shows how each vehicle performed.

2. Driver app: run the route

Each driver sees their stops in order, marks each one as completed or canceled and captures proof of delivery: photos, signature and, if you turn on package traceability, the packages loaded and delivered.

3. Messages to your customers

Your customers get automatic emails and SMS at each step: when the stop is created, when the route starts, when the driver is close and when the delivery is completed or canceled. Messages can include a real-time tracking link. Set them up in Project settings → Automated messages. See Automated messages.

Get started in three steps

  1. Create your account. Sign up with your email or with Continue with Google.

  2. Load your stops and vehicles. Upload an Excel file, import from Google Drive or add them manually.

  3. Create your first plan and optimize it. In Planner, pick a day and create a new plan.

Prefer to ask in plain language? Open the AI assistant in the sidebar and ask, for example, how many stops are still unassigned.
